How important are your dreams? My dreams have always been "to run a successful home business". I have always wanted that business to be art related. Animation, Graphic Design or Website Design It didn't really matter just as long as I was in the drivers seat. I have always seen the women in my family fight and plow their obstacles down in order to accomplish their dreams. But I have to ask myself, will I plow down the man that I love in order to accomplish that dream, When do my desires to see my dream realised, become too selfish and destructive to my marriage, And how do I stop fighting for what I want, and when is good time to stop. Brent and I have fought about this till we eventually had to find a common ground. It was on some level tearing us apart. Once we figured out what our Common ground was we built our house of Love on that. The walls of this new house are built with my dreams, and his. It involved Brent shedding some of his practical approach to success, and It involved me becoming more practical and developing a work ethic that I didn't possess before. No longer do I refer to my business as " MY BUSINESS" but "OUR BUSINESS"..Not "HIS DREAM" but "OUR DREAM" This one page goal, the joint Dream account that we developed in our conversations and our planning allowed me to realise my dream of doing Animations from home. I support our little family as well as I would have with a steady 9 -5 job. Brent's Dream of building this house and his studio is also a reality, that we both are comfortable in. His dream is now mine and my dream is now ours. Its a great feeling, Support and mutual Respect for our desires. We step together. No One ahead or behind. Its something that also took lots of stretching for both of us. So too end this blog, here is our home and my Animations that can be found on www.Gracelink.net Kindergarten Animations.
